Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, experienced accountant to join an expanding pharmaceuticals company in Windsor as a financial planning and analysis accountant. This international, family owned pharmaceutical firm has recently merged two of its elements and moved their head office to Windsor.
Due to growth this company is looking to employ an experienced financial planning an analysis accountant who will report directly to the CFO. Working with the CFO and key member of all departments you will have responsibility for coordinating and preparing the annual budget and the 3 year long range plan.You will consolidate the unit's budget and Business Plan, and partner with regional business leadership to provide support and meaning full analysis on all commercial proposals, building a solid financial business case to support each new venture, strategy or project. You will participate in analysis of MA or divestiture opportunities and manage the due diligence process requested for these. You will prepare accurate and timely cash flow analysis and projections in collaboration with the accounts to ensure that the cash management is optimized and to provide monthly updates to the Corporate Treasury. You will be responsible for the provision on internal management reports and the preparation of monthly Management Performance Analysis and Reporting. You will assess actual performance against the budget, explain any variances and recommend and initiate appropriate corrective actions. You will identify any areas of concern and work with the CFO to address them.
The successful candidate will either have a degree in Accounting or be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, and have experience of FPA operation in a business facing role. Ideally this would be in an international environment within the pharmaceutical industry, but this is not essential. You will have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience of accounting software packages is desirable. You will have strong interpersonal and presentation skills, coupled with excellent quantitative and analytical skills and an eye for detail. You will also have effective time management and be able to work under pressure and deal with multiple priorities.
