Staff Financial Planning Analyst - The primary job responsibilities for the Corp Senior Financial Analyst position include all of the following finance accounting support activities: · Budget financial close activities for the IT, Legal, Tax, Finance and Treasury: o Long-range, annual quarterly budget setting (OpEx, headcount CapEx) o Month-end financial close including variance analysis associated commentary o Tracking analysis of headcount changes from period-to-period. o Providing financial analysis accounting support to the operational managers · Create financial models and ROI analysis to evaluate capital investments proposals for IT. · Develop publish metrics that assist VPs in measuring operational performance and prioritizing investments. · Generate Finance efficiencies by streamlining processes and automating tasks · The development of ad hoc financial analysis to support general business. · Generate and publish quarterly Segment Market PL report. The selected candidate must have an undergraduate or MBA degree in Finance or Accounting. Ideally, the candidate will have 3 - 5 years work experience in financial planning analysis. Technology industry experience supporting IT and Corporate functions would be a plus. Strong problem solving, analysis, financial modeling, business acumen, teamwork and communication skills along with a demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic cross-functional environment are required. Intermediate to advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills are required. Hands on experience with Oracle ERP and Hyperion analysis and reporting tools are highly desirable.
