Financial Planning and MI Manager recruitment

An established and growing FSA regulated organisation is seeking a Financial Planning MI Manager to join their offices in London for the purposes of Planning, Reporting, Analysing and Monitoring the bank's core financial planning model and its development in support of decision making.

Your responsibilities will cover:

Reporting:

- Monthly MI regular reporting and variance analysis (SAS/SQL)

- Developing and detailing financial processes for capturing management information as new products/initiatives are tested and launched.

- Developing, testing, documenting, establishing and managing standard processes in order to hand over to other finance areas.

- Group Regulatory.

Assurance:

- Gathering information from across the business in relation to the Vanquis financial operating systems and conducting analysis to gain assurance that the systems are operating in accordance with business requirements.

Financial Planning:

- Responsible for supporting the budget and budget update processes though the forecasting of revenue and impairment lines for the UK credit card business' income statement.

- Overseeing the forecasting of the month end position (day-5) and all relevant KPI's, Monthly Reforecast.

Essentials:

It is highly desirable that the successful candidate should come with credit cards experience or related experience within a Financial Services organisation. SAS and SQL skills are paramount whereas an accounting qualification will be overlooked in the presence of suitable working experiences to date.
