Financial Project Manager, Clinical Laboratory Program

Financial Project Manager will be responsible for the management of the Clinical Laboratory Program Financial metrics, tracking and reporting. Will support the PMO and Solution teams with maintenance of approved, and creation of new, business cases. Additionally, will assist the PMO and Directors with Ad-Hoc reports. This position can be located at anyone of Kaiser Permanente's IT facilities. Essential Functions: - Management of the Lab Program finances to the approved business. - Partnership with Program Project Managers, Directors, and finance teams for financial tracking, statistics, estimations, and reporting. - Development of cost benefit analysis for the program - Communication to executive committee - Creating and reporting program status utilizing a dashboard - Allocation of resources across the multiple projects - Documentation of project governance policies and managing the financial concerns of the program. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience. A minimum of 8 years of Project Management experience. - Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. - Must be self motivated, driven, and well organized with have strong innovation and facilitation skills. - Proven oral and written communication skills; excellent business presentation skills. - Excellent analytical skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units. - Ability to effectively utilize external vendors and resources throughout the organization. - Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines. Must be able to utilize and effectively communicate financial components of an initiative to directors, audit, and finances teams. Preferred Qualifications: - Healthcare industry knowledge. - Information technology experience.. - Should have managed project budgets of up to $15 million. - Data Mining experience preferred.
