Financial Promotions Compliance Consultant
Our client is a market leading, global, large scale Fund Manager. They are looking to hire a Marketing Communication Financial Promotions Compliance Consultant.
This is a new hire in a highly productive team, you will be working for a firm with a fantastic brand, image and reputation. They have a well recognized, diverse product range which is well know for high performance.
You role will be key in approving the financial promotion for the EMEA and Asia. You will be working closely with the communications (PR/ Public Relations) and marketing team, offering them support, guidance and advice based on your experience.
It is crucial that you ensure that prospectuses, KIIDs, fund reports etc are compliant and updated. Any changes in regulatory guidance needs to be implemented, actioned and communicated throughout the firm.
Other tasks include:
- Literature sign off for all fund material
- Sign off of all promotional material for fund range
- Liaison with legal counsel regarding promotion of material in jurisdictions outside the UK (Europe and Asia)
- Training and support provided to business to help them meet their goals in a compliant manner
- Analysing offshore jurisdictions marketing requirements
- Writing and keeping up to date marketing and product distribution chapters of the Managers Compliance Manual
- Working with and introducing software to assist with the creation of Key Investor Information Documents and Supplementary Information Documents as well as writing such documents
- Compliance point of contact for project work (for example, implementation of new advisor tools and web solutions)
- Training and assessing staff reviewing financial promotions
This is a business critical hire, you will have come from a marketing/ compliance background and have an understanding of financial communications, regulatory rules and the limitations that publishing fund literature adheres too. You will be seen as a point of guidance, therefore you must be a very strong and confident communicator with the ability to work across a range of different teams.
Any European language skills would be very useful for this position.
This is a great institution and a long-term safe environment. It is important that you have already accumulated experience in a similar position. Given the nature of this hire it will be necessary to ask that candidates have a working history in with financial fund promotions and associated literature/ compliance regulations.
