Financial Reporting Accountant recruitment
The team currently consists of about 25 people and the person will be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of the balance sheet. It is a very hands on role involving detail of month end and preparation of financial statements.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform month end checks and balances
- Prepare reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
- Assist with the audit and preparation of annual statutory accounts for both UK and US entities
- Assist in preparation of direct and indirect tax computations and returns for submission to HMRC
- Ensure clients are treated fairly by knowing the customer and giving suitable advice, communicating clearly and fairly.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or overseas equivalent
- Strong academic background
- Previous financial reporting experience
- Knowledge and exposure to IFRS and US GAAP
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good Excel skills
- Previous experience of financial services
- Pro active and strong team player
