Overview
Fund Administration provides operational support to the Wellington Management's collective investment schemes globally. We are looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst (FRA) who will be primarily responsible for oversight of the Annual Audit and Annual and Semi Annual Financial Statement Production for the Wellington Management's UCITS and SIF funds that are domiciled in Europe ('European Funds'). The role will also include providing operational support to the Board of Directors of the various Fund Companies on issues including Audit, Regulatory and Governance requirements in relation to the European Funds and providing local support and coverage for the Fund Administration team.

The FRA operates in a highly professional environment with experienced individuals. The FRA is required to work independently as well as contribute to the overall team.

It is expected that the FRA will develop and maintain relationships with and provide oversight to the external accounting and administrative agents and auditors within the jurisdiction to ensure that a high level of service is being provided to the European Funds and the clients invested in the funds.

Responsibilities
Financial Reporting Oversight
•Coordinate Annual Audit and manage Auditor Relationship
•Annual Report and Financial Statements Review
•Assist Auditor in preparation of the Long-form Report in Luxembourg
•Semi-annual Financial Statements Review
•Review of all Financial Statement Templates
•Key point person on Irish and Luxembourg GAAP
•Manage translation of Financial Statement

Fund and Management Company Governance
•Monthly Administrator and Trustee Report Review
•Board of Directors Reporting
•Conducting Person Reporting
•Oversee regulatory filings
•Monitor VaR reporting on sophisticated UCITS Funds
•Provide administration support for resolution of UCITS/guideline breaches
•UCITS Directive and AIFM Directive Operational Support
•Review and implement new regulatory requirements including new UCITS IV
•Substance Requirements and AIFM Requirements for non-UCITS Funds
•Maintain relationships with Local Paying Agents
•Review and implement public and private registration requirements

Qualifications
•Substantial relevant experience in the technical experience of fund accounting, investment products and complex financial instruments
•Good understanding of the European Fund Regulation
•Relevant financial reporting experience
•ACCA/ACA qualification (or equivalent) desirable but not essential
•Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Team oriented attitude
•Demonstrated career progression

•Synthesize information quickly
•Identify, research and resolve unfamiliar issues

German language skills would be advantageous
