Summer Intern, Platts MM Sales team recruitment
This Summer Intern position is to assist the Platts MM Sales Team in growing and maintaining Platts business with existing clients in EMEA. Alongside assisting the Platts MM BDMs in their daily tasks, the intern would also be tasked with using the internet and social media to find new leads to be developed by the BDMs. Other activities include: assisting with the/execution of proactive sales campaigns, assisting with the maintenance and management of the client base, and assisting with the appropriate follow-up activities
This is an ideal internship for a bright young individual who is looking to later pursue a career in a consultative sales environment.
Skills
- Proficient in Excel and Word.
- Experience of CRM system.
- Foreign languages an advantage.
- Experience of cold-calling.
- The ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent presentation skills via the phone and follow up skills.
- Strong communication skills will be required for oral and written communications with customers and prospects.
- The ability to succeed as a individual and in a team environment
