Financial Reporting Specialist – Hedge Funds Services recruitment
Prepare and review Fund's annual and quarterly financial statements to clients, auditors and investors.
Assist the AVP in the audit coordination of the clients' annual reporting process.
Provide clients and auditors with appropriate supporting documentation for annual statements.
Prepare and review certain required SEC filings.
Supervise and mentoring staff.
Actively participate in audit update calls.
Undertake any other financial reporting responsibilities assigned
Ensure 100% o evidence of review when preparing and reviewing statements.
Assist with training of staff on financial reporting responsibilities.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years in the financial services industry and 4 years in the hedge fund industry
Bachelor degree required, degree preference is Finance, Accounting or Economics (3.2 or higher GPA), CPA and/or MBA preferred
Strong technical understanding of the investment company industry including a strong knowledge of the GAAP Accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards.
