Financial Reporting Team Leader

This Financial Reporting Accountant job will appeal to a qualified accountant, most likely looking to make a first or second move from professional practice. Reporting to the Head of Accounting and working as part of a small-knit team, the duties and responsibilities of the Financial Accountant will include but not be limited to:

• Prepare financial statements and the accompanying disclosure.
• Liaise with auditors and client as required.
• Undertake detailed monthly balance sheet and PL reviews for allocated funds.
• Prepare weekly and monthly client deliverables.
• Support the senior supervisor by producing high quality reports working to agreed timelines.
• Involvement in key automation project and continuous process improvements.
• Develop strong, pro-active working relationships with all internal and external customers.
• Share specialist knowledge with colleagues and help train as required

In order to be successful, you will have a prior knowledge of funds, or OEICs etc and be keen to further your career in this area. Our client is expanding rapidly in Edinburgh, so you can expect excellent career progression within a short period of time.
