FINANCIAL SERVICES ANALYST I

Primary roles and responsibilities Evaluate the financial position and creditworthiness of customers within an assigned portfolio of responsibility. Research, review and analyze detailed customer financial statements, bank/trades, news and public filings (litigation, securitization, etc.) to set appropriate credit limits. Work with Financial Services and sales teams to develop best practices to market value added solutions to customers (i.e. Alternative and Non-standard financing solutions). Provide insight and consultation on decisions pertaining to credit risk, exposure, slow pay, potential dissengagement, reserves, collections, and bankruptcy issues. Travel to customer sites in conjunction with Senior Analyst or FRA Manager along with sales rep and or GM to develop and maintain business relationships. Assess and audit the customer's financial status, evaluate management's business acumen, integrity and market value added financial solutions. Ad hoc assignments and process improvements - develop, build, update, maintain and troubleshoot internal credit tools (risk model, credit scoring, OCM and other non-portfolio responsibilities) Stay abreast of electronics and credit industry trends. Share knowledge with field as appropriate. Attend branch Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR's), to understand the scope of customer engagement relative to Arrow's selling opportunity and level of credit risk. Participate in branch calls with collection team and sales team. Complete Risk Model's and Cusotmer Credit Score in evaluating risk potential. Education / Experience / Skills College degree or equivalent technical training and experience. 2-4 years experience MS office, ability to build financial models, verbal and written communication skills, expereince in financial analysis, investor analysis, coupled with a working knowledge of reading and interpreting financial statements and making credit limit recommendations.
