Our client a leading blue chip organisation in Ipswich are looking to recruit a bright and proactive qualified financial accountant, to work within a small team, which is part of the larger finance community. Your key responsibilities will include;
* A key contributor to the team meeting its regulatory reporting requirements for UK regulated entities including production of client money calculations, therefore experience of FCA rules is ideal;
* Work with the senior financial accountants in the production of the monthly accounts
* Build an understanding of the multiple systems and how the information they hold impacts the general ledger;
* Lead the reconciliation process and the cash book
* Work not only to reconcile the balance sheet but to deliver understanding of the balance sheet through working with the business focused finance teams, management information, accounting settlement and others;
* Work closely and communicate clearly with other finance teams in the group;
* Able work both on regular weekly/monthly/quarterly scheduled requirements and on ad-hoc tasks projects
