FIs/Banks Coverage, Emerging Markets
The successful candidate will work with a portfolio of Financial Institutions clients in the EMEA region, in particular Africa and the CEE Russia/CIS region.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Support the development and consolidation of active business relationships with targeted Financial Institution clients of International Banking.
- Provide direct support to the development and delivery of Trade Finance and Loan facilities.
- Support the development of appropriate strategy to further departmental aims.
- Execution of Facility Documents and Mandate Documents developing commercial, credit and legal knowledge.
- First contact point for Trade Finance and Loan instruments.
- Liaise with Credit departments to ensure timely execution of credit processes.
- Submission of appropriate credit applications on client / sector basis.
- Ensure all compliance related requirements are completed for each new transactions and clients (KYC + any other documents required internally).
- Liaise with Middle Office/ Back Office and Product Teams or timely completion of various procedural and reporting requirements.
- Regularly update and maintain internal databases and management information systems.
- Ensure smooth transactions execution, booking and reporting.
Skills and experience required:
- Relevant corporate banking experience is essential for this role, ideally with direct experience of covering a portfolio of emerging markets based Banks.
- Fluency in English is essential, French and / or Russian would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in a middle/back-office environment required.
- The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated and able to develop business opportunities individually or as part of a team.
