Head of Regulatory Investigations

Our client, a leading global investment bank, are looking for an individual to join their Group Risk function as UK Head of Regulatory Investigations

This role holder will be overall accountable for the oversight and management of internally and externally driven investigations, and their results.

Responsibilities will include;

-Accountable for the proper and effective oversight and management of internal and external regulatory investigations concerning the UK Bank

-Accountable for the establishment and maintenance of robust processes and procedures for the management of regulatory investigations, including ensuring appropriate governance, processes, skilled personnel and resources, and programme execution

-Accountable for the provision of advice and guidance to the most senior levels in the bank on the management of regulatory risk relating to regulatory investigations.

-Accountable for managing the relationship with relevant regulators and external authorities relating to regulatory investigations

-Participate in and work with relevant industry bodies and groups in relation to Regulatory Compliance related initiatives.

-Advise senior Compliance stakeholders on the regulatory risks arising from Regulatory Investigations activity, such that wider mitigating actions might be put in place, as required.

Experience required;

-Broad and deep understanding of Regulatory Compliance
-Extensive knowledge of regulations and guidance
-Significant experience in a similar organisation
-Experience developing an assurance model and developing/leading a review team.
