FIX Network Support Analyst recruitment
Our client is a market leading vendor who are currently recruiting an experience FIX Network Support Analyst to bring enhanced FIX knowledge to a small Technical Support team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual with good experience in supporting FIX connectivity solutions including the ability to work effectively with clients and network vendors
Your responsibilities will include;-
- Working with Clients, internal resources and network vendors to provide problem troubleshooting, support, and resolution.
- Working with vendors as partners to deliver a tightly integrated, seamless service to our Clients
- Sustaining a high level of availability of our dedicated FIX Network.
- Assisting internal colleagues with the following activities:
- Design, specification, and provisioning of FIX Network solutions
- Testing and certification
- Go-live implementation
- On-going changes and enhancements
- Participation in the development and on-going refinement, enhancement and continuous process improvement of all operational support procedures essential to the cost-effective delivery of network services.
- Providing 1st level support to our FIX clients
Requirements:
- In depth experience in all aspects of FIX (Financial Information eXchange) – capabilities, configuration, testing, certification, troubleshooting, industry trends.
- Proven ability to work in mission critical operations and support environment.
- Good overall knowledge and understanding of Wide Area Networks (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN).
- Proven ability to partner with various internal departments to deliver superior customer service.
- Periodic off-hours support.
- Occasional travel to customer sites to perform on-site customization, testing, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
• Experience with FIX certification, administration and support, preferably in the buy-side arena.
- Excellent customer service skills, technical troubleshooting skills, and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A willingness to learn about and provide support on a variety of applications and interfaces.
