Position Description

Group Description:
The Client Information Control Team is a group within Fixed Income Sales Management that is responsible for efficiently and effectively remediating client data to satisfy various regulatory and control requirements. This consists of daily interactions with Sales, Clients, Legal Compliance, the Enterprise Data and Services Group and Operations.

Position Description:
The group's responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring client issues are promptly raised, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner; researching and analyzing client information to resolve outstanding requests; and reaching out to sales and clients to obtain necessary information/documentation to fulfill the Firm's expectations set by regulators. An understanding of the regulation and the corresponding Firm policies is required to meet expectations.

This role requires very strong relationship management, organizational and communication skills. An individual with compliance related experience, preferably in anti-money laundering (AML). We seek a self-driven, analytical and problem solving individual with strong research skills.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Liaise with Sales, Clients and internal departments to obtain required information/documentation and explain the requirements and its regulation where necessary
• Provide weekly status updates and escalate issues to management, as appropriate
• Possess an in-depth understanding of the Firm's Global Rolling Review policy and of the internal processes, procedures, reports and controls related to this policy
• Collaborate on solutions and participate in process improvements
• Manage existing client relationships and effectively communicate and track related progress

Skills Required

• 3-5 years in the financial industry preferably in a compliance, regulatory or client onboarding role
• Proven client relationship skills
• Self motivated individual with an ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
• Ability to interact effectively with others across departments, regions and time zones
• Exceptional problem solving ability and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with Sales and Trading, all levels of the client organization and representatives from Morgan Stanley infrastructure teams
• Outstanding attention to detail and analytical ability
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel
• Knowledge of Morgan Stanley Clients and Products
• Bachelor degree or equivalent and relevant/proven experience
• Proficient in the USA Patriot Act and the understanding of the current regulatory environment
• Fluent in more than one language is a plus
