Fixed Income Developer – .NET recruitment

This role is for an experienced developer working within the Fixed Income development team. This role will focus on the use of Java for the middleware environment, integrating to a .Net User Interface. This role will comprise of maintaining and upgrading existing applications and development work on new business initiatives. 

The successful candidate will join an established team working closely with the Development Manager, Project Managers, Database Administrators and Business Analysts. The successful candidate will be involved in reviewing and documenting requirements, analysing and implementing the design and providing testing strategies for your work. You will also be expected to provide input into architectural, design and process decisions and take a proactive approach to improving quality process.

Core .net Framework 2.0 -4.0

Visual Studio 2010

Windows Forms

WPF

WCF

Linq

Sockets

 Multi-Threading

Task Parallel Library

Experience in a number of the following supporting technologies:

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate Financial Markets knowledge. You will also need to have strong working knowledge of Agile. 

Given the nature of the role you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills along with experience in stakeholder management.
