Fixed Income Project Manager

Key responsibilities

* Manage fund launches from approval through to launch. The successful candidate will be required to motivate a multi-disciplined team of Fixed Income (and/or external) representatives to ensure the project delivers on time and within budget; * Ability to take a hands-on role as required to ensure successful delivery of the fund launch; * Experienced in managing senior stakeholders; and * Build successful relationships with the project delivery partners, including external legal advice, fund administrator, trustee / custodian and auditor.

What we are looking for

Essential: * Experience of the end to end processes required for a new product launch; * Project management experience within asset management with an ability to adapt the approach and delivery style depending on the project; * Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal, with excellent active listening skills; * Strong influence and negotiating skills; * Ability to manage a variety of stakeholders; * Strong analytic and proven problem solving skills with an ability to negotiate pragmatic solutions to meet conflicting business requirements; * Highly motivated, proactive and resilient; * Ability to be flexible and to manage ambiguity during project delivery; and * Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation, with strong relationship management skills.

Desirable: * Knowledge of fixed income investment products e.g. bonds, real estate, structured credit, private placements and other esoteric instruments; * An appreciation of product structures (e.g. SICAVs, QIFs, SIFs etc.); * Awareness of related regulations (e.g. UCITS, AIFMD etc.); * Knowledge of the asset management industry; and * IMC qualified.
