Fixed Income Sales/Product Manager
This entrepreneurial role involves a high level of autonomy and becoming the “product specialist” by acting as a conduit between external clients, internal sales specialists and developers You will be responsible for setting the product strategy, conception design, specifying and testing the look, functionality for existing and new products for new and existing clients.
The candidate
This is a business/product focused role and as such will require the right candidate to have a strong markets knowledge as well as a proven track record in product management within a front office environment for either an investment bank or platform.
The right individual will have the following experience:
- Excellent understanding of client facing tools
- Excellent first hand experience in financial markets, specifically fixed income interest rates/otc derivatives, from a trading, sales or product management background.
- A solid understanding of front to back workflow processes
- A strong product management background with the ability to understand client’s requirements as well as having the product and domain knowledge to design and develop functionality and tools for end clients.
- Excellent technical comprehension and the ability to be able to be in interface between the business and technical departments
- The ability to understand how to make the product area more efficient and build into the platform
- Strong verbal skill
- Be able to build strong rapport with market participants and market leaders
