Fixed Income Specialist – OTC Valuations recruitment

Job description:

Manage delivery of services to valuations assessment clients. Develop and manage processes to perform valuations assessment services, including but not limited to:

•  Integration of client holdings data, including reconciliation processes.

•  Cost and quality optimized use of available vendor price sources.

•  Analysis of price differences that exceed valuation tolerance test thresholds.

•  Manage price challenge process with third-party pricing suppliers.

•  Manage client report production on a weekly and monthly basis.

•  Presentation of material discrepancies and findings to client's valuations committee.

•  Ad hoc analysis to respond to client's valuations committee queries.

•  Assessment of client's pricing sources' methodologies.

•  Manage client relationships at a senior level.

•  Identify requirements for additional pricing sources and explore alternatives, including conducting full commercial and functional pricing vendor evaluations.

•  Develop business requirements for technology solutions to automating production processes.

•  Contribute to management information analysis and reporting.

Job Requirements:

•  Experience in fixed income/ asset backed securities markets and other financial instruments.

•  Experience with pricing analytics tools, e.g., Bloomberg analytics.

•  Strong organizational skills, including high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to ensure accuracy.

•  Strong analytical, verbal and written communications skills.

•  Ability to cogently explain and discuss financial information to different audiences.

•  Proactive team player, flexible, dependable, professional attitude, ability to deal with senior management.

•  Ability to initiate and drive multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

•  Ability to perform and understand complex financial calculations.

•  5+ years of relevant experience.

•  Graduate degree in finance, mathematics, financial engineering or related discipline, and/or professional certification, e.g., CFA, FRM. Commensurate experience will be considered.
