Fixed Income trade support, London recruitment

A leading Investment Management firm is looking for a Fixed Income trade support administrator responsible for post-trade activity. They will work with the London and Global teams to support the Fixed Income group.

Responsibilities of the role:

• General compliance reporting and monitoring.

• Trade compliance using Charles River at trade, fund and account levels. Research in to compliance issues and liaise with other departments to make sure compliance guidelines are interpreted properly.

• Responsible for trade related activities at both fund and account levels; confirmations of trades, settlements, delivery instructions, trade processing, requesting FX for trades etc.

• Asset set up and maintenance

• Account opening and account transitions of assets. Also transfer assets between managers.

• Develop and maintain key contact with brokers, Portfolio Managers, Custodian Banks, Traders and other areas of the company.

• General system knowledge (although further training will be provided) including Bloomberg, and always monitoring and developing systems where necessary.

Requirements of the role:

• Excellent PC skills and Microsoft Office especially Excel

• Analytical and mathematical skills

• Experience in Fixed Income

• Knowledge of trade processing, settlements and compliance

• Good general knowledge of financial instruments and the industry

• Experience processing swaps and other derivative instruments preferable

• Communication skills and good relationship management
