Fixed Operations Manager Job
Multi franchise auto group located in North Central, Texas seeks a dynamic Fixed Operations Director to oversee all facets operations within the dealer group.
This dealer group is a fast moving, aggressive company with honest, involved owners who actively promote a professional organizational culture.
A qualified candidate must have proven leadership skills with a large staff covering multiple locations, including staff and team development and process improvement and will be required to work with customers, employees and vendors to control expenses, maximize profit and maintain strong CSI. The successful candidate will also optimize parts inventory levels to ensure Parts Department sales objectives and profitability. Strong analytical and communication skills along with knowledge of automotive accounting are necessary.
Responsibilities:
· Monitor and advise dealer of performance/adherence to policies and procedures in such areas of Parts Sales, Parts Inventory Control, Fixed Operations Training, Warranty Administration, Consumer Affairs, Customer Satisfaction, etc.
· Provide recommendations on operational improvements to dealer and dealership managers, which maximize customer satisfaction, operational effectiveness, market penetration, and dealer parts and service profitability
· Insure consistent technician training attendance and participation at regional and satellite training classes
· Strong written and oral communication skills, competent PC user, Proficient in the use of Windows based software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point

· Industry Knowledge - Automotive Retail: Demonstrates a sound understanding of automotive dealership sales/service/parts operations and financial services; uses knowledge and experience to improve operational performance

Requirements:
· Must be a high school graduate
· Bachelor's degree preferred
· Master's degree a plus
· A minimum of 5 years managing an automotive service department and at least 7 years in a fixed operations managerial role
