Client Service Delivery manages investment monitoring, measurement and processing services for our clients. Our solutions include Securities Operations, Fund Administration, Transfer Agency, Outsourcing, Performance Measurement and other related services.

Description

The Tax Specialist candidate will be supporting the Financial Markets and Treasury Services Sector with the objective of certifying the taxpayer information for accounts opened. The responsibilities will include: Building an understanding of the tax documentation needs for the business line being supported; Validating tax forms and supporting documentation based on IRS and Bank policy to confirm validity; Researching, reviewing and coordinating the resolution of tax documentation discrepancies for clients with the Business unit and Corporate Tax; Maintaining detailed records tracking the tax documentation status. Initiating and responding to communication regarding outstanding tax documentation and discrepancies; Identifying and recording proper tax coding for the account based on the outcome of the documentation review and determination of status for taxable entity; Identifying and escalating potential tax issues to management and Building a rapport with the Sector Business Units and Corporate Tax.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business related field or equivalent work experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Detail oriented with strong analytical skills. Ability to prioritize and resolve problems. Excellent PC skills are required, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products and databases. Experience in tax or related fiduciary work is preferred. Ability to read Spanish documentation is a plus.
