We are looking for Forestry Workers a Leading Hand Supervisor with Fire Crew experience to join our team on Melville Island for the upcoming fi re season.
Salary will be based upon relevant experience. Roster: FIFO from Darwin 9/5.
You will be responsible for:
- Carrying out day to day duties in relation to fuel reduction burning.
- Respond to all wildfi re events.
- Carry out maintenance of all fire plant and equipment.
- Carrying out ‘other’ plantation duties as required.
The applicant must possess the ability to:
- Work in a team as well as independently.
- Work outdoors in a remote environment.
- Mentor train local indigenous employees.
It would be an advantage to have:
- MR or higher licence.
- NT Bushfi re Awareness Training or equivalent.
