Volt Workforce Solutions has an immediate opening available for a Forms Analyst/Specialist. This is a long-term (possible temp-to-hire) position in downtown Portland for someone experienced with Business Forms/Document Management and processes.
Position Description:
This is very much a Liaison-Coordinator type of role for someone who is very collaborative and able to work well with the various teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Convert Business Process Requirements into effective form types, form elements and design styles.
- Apply Design Requirements for effective data capture and display, ensuring that all business, legal and processing requirements are met.
- Serve as the Liaison between the Business Analysts and the Forms Designers to determine and communicate form requirements, including content, design options, potential deployment techniques, and interfaces to other systems and companion forms.
- While not generally expert on the specific tools used by the Forms Designers, must have a working knowledge of the tools used.
Percentage of Duties:
- 50%
- Lead projects relating to requests for Forms Development and Production, including organization and scheduling of project details.
- Apply Standard Forms Analysis principles in the development of new forms.
- Perform Design Analysis to implement Process Requirements into the form(s).
- Develop and document Data Capture and Display Requirements.
- Incorporate pre- and post-processing requirements in the forms design.
- Determine the most effective form container product type (i.e. paper, electronic, Internet or other).
- Communicate Design Requirements to Form Designers and Production Requirements to Form Services Technicians.
- Manage User Testing process (Beta Test) and implementation conducted by Forms Services Technicians.

- Perform analysis of existing forms on a regular basis, such that all forms in the population are reviewed for effectiveness.
- Initiate redesign projects, as determined by the review process.
- Perform analysis of forms on a project basis, as required.
- 15%
- Lead projects for the preparation of variable data printing, such as policy endorsements and mass mailings.
- 5%
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This is an estimated 6-12 month contingent/temporary position (with possibility of Direct Hire) through Volt Workforce Solutions located in Portland, OR. Requirements:
Required Skills for this Forms Analyst/Specialist position include the following:
- Must have prior experience with Business Forms/Document Management and processes
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED-education verified; college degree preferred
- Must have a minimum of 2+ years of prior Forms experience, preferably as an Analyst working with processes
- Advanced computer knowledge, Microsoft Office skills
- An extreme attention to detail and accuracy required
- Must clear a criminal background check, education verification and a drug screen
