FP&A Modelling Manager

Our client, a leading Bank, is currently seeking a qualified accountant to join their Commercial team. The role is within the business planning and forecasting team whose responsibility is to support the timely delivery of the 5-year plan and forecasts, supported by strategic insight and analysis.

The role will mainly involve driving various Stress Test planning processes through co-ordination of the underlying processes, modelling and analysis, ensuring linkage to strategy and economic scenarios, consolidation, challenge of the outputs, and presentation of key messages and insights to the key stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include;
Design, develop and maintain a set of XL data models used to drive and consolidate business unit financials for Base Case and Stress Test scenarios
Ensure underlying planning processes are aligned to Group policy
Provide insightful information and analysis to Senior Management decision making
Provide guidance on planning related questions and policy
Build and maintain a strong cross functional internal network to optimise business results
Continuously identify improvements to enhance processes and timeliness of delivery

The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant with experience and good XL and modelling skills. The ideal candidate should be highly analytical and numerate as well as having strong drive and commitment with a proven track record of delivery. The individual should ideally have experience within a Wholesale/Investment Banking environment from a planning and decision support function.
