French Fluent Analyst for leading Private Equity Fund recruitment

Our Client

Our client is a top London based Private Equity fund focusing on the Consumer and Retail space. The fund has developed a strong track record of successful investments in the UK and European markets. The fund has also recently made returns to its Limited Partners and continues to seek new acquisitions.

The client has seen a sharp pick up in work in the UK and European markets and needs to expand its team to accommodate the increase in workload. We have been exclusively mandated to source an individual to join this highly successful team and the aim is that this person should start in the next few months.

The Role

The role will be all encompassing getting involved in all facets of the investment life cycle. You will help with detailed financial modelling on pre and post-acquisition businesses, help with taking ideas to the investment committee, work on live portfolio companies with strategy implementation and relationship building and work on exit plans as well for business being sold off the portfolio. This is a Partner track role with no expectation to move after 2 years to do an MBA. You will work very closely with all members of the team from the lead members of the team through to Associates above you. It is a flat structured team and this gives an enormous learning curve when stepping in to this environment. This is a really exciting opportunity for the right person to join a fund as it really develops a name for itself in the space.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be someone from a Leading Investment bank with two years of experience under their belts.

• A passion for the Consumer and Retail space is really important. Demonstrable interest either from deals you have worked on or a background of experience in the sector

• Strong technical modelling is essential as this fund really prides itself on technical accuracy.

• A second European language is compulsory. Ideally French

• A person with a leading education and strong internships will also be compulsory

• A super professional and yet down to earth personality is also critical for this role as this is a zero ego environment
