Job Description

Bloc is currently looking for Front-end Web Developers to mentor students for our Front-end Web Developer course. As a mentor, you'll provide a helping hand to students as they work their way through our course designed to teach them the fundamentals of front-end development. This will include pair programming, code reviews, answering questions, and offering guidance to help your students become better front-end developers. If you've ever been interested in teaching, this will be your dream job.

Mentors are expected to be able to meet with each of their students at least three times a week for appointments lasting up to one hour. As a mentor, you can set your own availability schedule and the number of students that you are willing to accept.

Most of our mentors have other jobs, startups or freelance projects. Mentoring does not impede upon your ability to pursue other endeavors.
