FRONT OFFICE ASSISTANT – PRIVATE BANKING – ZURICH recruitment

The CLIENT
Our client is one of the largest retail bank in Europe. They are known to be an outstanding financial services provider, with over twenty eight million clients all around the world.
The private Banking desk of the group in Zurich is now looking for a Front Office Assistant, who will directly work with the Relationship Managers.
The purpose of this role is to give operational and administrative support to the Relationship Managers and to ensure a quality service to the clients.

The ROLE
This position is based on the following skills: clients service and administrative support, financial knowledge and risk analysis. The main tasks you will be dealing with are:

-Pphone calls and ad hoc responses to clients’ request
-Assisting the RM in the day to day activities
-Monitoring accounts (deposits, loans and bonds, cash management, buy and sell recommendations, etc.)
-Following up on investments and transactions (money transfers, deposits, FOREX, etc.)
-Ensuring the coordination between clients’ need and internal services
-Knowing your customer and sharing information with the RM
-Understating the financial markets, the product and investments, as well as the products of the Group
-Sales support to the RM and some limited selling activities (for the basic products)
-Monitoring the adherence of al activities with the Group’s policies and regulations
-Keeping a clean and confidential data management
-General administrative tasks: planning and preparing meetings, dealing with mails, processing expenses claims, etc.

The PROFILE

The candidate will match the following expectations:
-Min. 4-5 years experience in the banking sector
-A degree in Finance-Business or equivalent by experience
-A good understanding and knowledge of the financial markets, investments activities and private banking
-An experience in External Asset Management is a plus
-The ability to work in: English, German, Spanish (Portuguese and/or Italian is a plus)
-A high sense of confidentially and ethic, very good organization skills, client minded and customer driven
