Our client, a global investment bank is looking for a proven C++/Java Developer to join their automated trading team. Looking for highly skilled C++/Java technologists who can deliver low-latency trading platform.
Responsibilities:
- Develop/enhance ultra low-latency trading systems including connectivity, market data, and OMS
- Develop interface for middle office and risk management systems
- Work closely with traders to gather requirements
- Provide Level 3 support
- Resolve performance issues / bottlenecks to provide innovative ways for improvement
- Collaborate with global teams and counterparts
Requirements:
- Proven OOD, C++/Linux, and/or Java
- Strong knowledge in STL, ACE, Boost, etc
- Excellent understanding of data structure and algorithms
- Excellent knowledge of real-time, mission critical systems/applications, low-latency architecture, coding styles, multi-threading, etc
- Experience in FIX, Tibco, UDP, TCP/IP, etc
- Exposure to equities and derivative trading systems would be highly preferred
- Ability to learn quickly and take self initiatives
- Strong communication skills in English
