Front Office IT Environment Manager (UAT/Production) - Senior AVP

A Tier 1 Investment Bank is looking to hire an IT Environment Manager to coordinate IT processes between Build the Bank, Release, Testing and Operations UAT teams in a Front-Office Business facing environment. The team are a market leading technology team within the Fixed Income space and this role will give the Environment Manager the opportunity to be involved with front to back management of the global test and infrastructure environment.
The role will include Project Management, for example being involved with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning and Production solutions for multiple teams. Therefore a strong project management background is desirable. For example this role would suit a Infrastructure Project Manager with some technical experience who is keen to get more business facing front office exposure. A background in testing is not required, however experience managing and prioritising changes within a production, business facing role is important, ideally within Front Office Investment Banking.
The manager will help drive changes and improvements across the group so must be organised and be able to build strong relationships and be able to articulate solutions and provide governance over the environment. Ensuring fluid interaction and on time delivery will be important and therefore the Environment Manager will be critical in ensuring that the technology and business it supports remain a front runner in the market.
