Front Office Java Developer – Core Java/J2SE/ Derivatives/ Multithreading/ Low Latency/ Spring/XML/ TIBCO- London recruitment

My client is a globally established Investment Bank with an excellent reputation within the market place. With the success of its derivatives business overall, they are looking to expand and bring on board a technically strong Java Developer within the London Office. The Java developer will be heading up a number of projects and initiatives and will be given the opportunity to lead a small group of junior developers. This is a broad role encompassing a complex front end trading application, performance improvement, market connectors, and analysis tools.

******Previous banking experience is preferred however they will consider non-banking backgrounds******

Technical skills required: Senior Java Developer / FX Trading – Systematic Hedge Fund / J2SE / Multithreading/TCP, Corba, Tibco, JMS

.Develop cutting edge trading systems and tools in Java

.Liaise directly with the traders and quants on the Algo Trading desk to generate accurate specifications
