Front Office Market Risk Analyst recruitment
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Global Commodity Trading House, with excellent career prospects. Joining as a Front Office Market Risk Analyst, you will support the Market Risk Team to develop and manage the risk framework.
Key responsibilities:
- Daily interaction with the traders, investigating breaches.
- Assisting in ensuring positions in the trading and risk systems are accurate.
- Running reports calculating daily margin exposures, as required.
- Reconciling internal positions between Risk and Treasury/Assets.
- Calculating monthly interest payments on margining collateral.
- Assisting in the reconciliation of weekly reports to Finance systems.
I am interested in hearing from candidates with the following skills:
- Degree or equivalent in an analytically focused discipline.
- Experience of working in trading and/or risk management associated with wholesale power, gas, coal and CO2 is desirable.
- Experience of meeting deadlines basic reporting.
- Highly motivated and results orientated.
- Commercial acumen.
