VP Project Manager – Financial Reporting Change

A leading Investment Bank is looking for strong Project Manager who is an expert in change around financial reporting to work within a highly regarded team conducting functional architecture for financial reporting change.

This position will suit a high-calibre qualified accountant with a proven track record of delivery as a Project Manager with a background in Financial Control Change / Finance Transformation, who is keen develop valuable process designs that will make a genuine difference. The role will be part of large scale, long term Finance Change Programme designed to improve Financial Reporting processes and support their application globally.

The role is suited to a senior manager from a line Financial Reporting background or a change professional with a great deal of subject matter expertise in the financial reporting space IFRS, IAS, Basel, UK US GAAP. You are likely to have investment banking financial control experience and some projects driven from the line side.

The team will be responsible for developing accurate diagrams and business requirements documents for IT consumption which must be of a high standard to ensure accuracy of translation into application design. You will also participate in the governing of project activities, in validating process models with stakeholders and interfacing with other Financial Reporting workstreams.   

Candidate requirements:

-Qualified accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCA or CA

-Experienced in working in a financial accounting / reporting line role.

-Change experience delivering financial reporting projects.

-Strong stakeholder management

-Strong leadership skills
