Front Office Project Manager required for OTC Derivatives Change Programme at UBS
The OTC Derivative Senior Project Manager will work as part of the Change team within the IB COO function, focussed on the Rates and Credit business areas.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing the implementation of a range of new OTC Derivative regulatory changes (Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MIFID II and equivalent regulation in Switzerland and APAC) in the Rates and Credit Front Office as part of a larger front to back programme to implement these regulations across the investment Bank
- Managing the implementation of new electronic and algorithmic trading capabilities within the Rates and Credit business in response to these regulations and as part of the new strategic direction for the business
Your background will include:
- Experience of working in the Front Office of an Investment Bank
- Experience of working in an OTC Derivative business
- Familiarity with significant regulatory changes (Basel III, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MIFID etc)
- An understanding of how an Investment Bank operates front to back
- Significant relevant experience in the project lifecycle
- Prior experience of leading large scale, global change projects/programmes to a successful conclusion
You will possess:
- The ability to work with senior stakeholders and team members across all areas of an investment bank
- The ability to influence and motivate a team
- An understanding of different project methodologies and approaches
- Knowledge of how to interact with technology teams coupled with a strong appreciation of current technologies and how technology delivery projects work
