FTE Product Manager – London recruitment

Overview :

The Wealth Planning (WP) team provides clients with holistic wealth structuring strategies and solutions along their entire life cycle catering to their needs for financial, retirement, succession and tax planning.

The PDM function is responsible for the development and lifecycle management of tax efficient vehicles thereby ensuring a closely integrated, front-to-back value chain for the delivery and support of Wealth Planning products and services.

The WP product shelf comprises life insurance products, group and individual pension vehicles, estate planning solutions, venture capital trusts and individual savings accounts. External product providers have been appointed to various advisory panels for the different elements of the business outlined.

A product manager's primary responsibility will be to manage the existing product shelf and manage the development of new tax efficient products and services.
 

Product Management:

Subject matter expert for product technical queries from front back office, support functions and providers for WP PDM products

Manage and co-ordinate "product level" projects or process changes

Regular product updates to relevant stakeholders, e.g. process changes, fee changes

Resolve any other issues at product or provider level and escalate as appropriate.

Obtain and update investment performance information for WP PDM products where relevant

Review, control and maintain client presentations, guidelines, information sheets and all other internally published documents.

Co-ordinating review of new and existing contractual agreements with panel providers

Collate and present Management Information on all WP PDM products, involving analysis of product penetration, assets under management and product profitability. This will include collation and analysis of key data and making recommendations on follow up actions to be taken

Analyse regulatory and tax changes in conjunction with wider WP team and assess the impact that these have on WP PDM products

Provide new product operational training and support to key stakeholders and partners
Full project management of the end to end cycle for the introduction/development of new products.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of life, pensions and other tax efficient savings products

Strong project management experience
Robust product management culture.
Self-motivated
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Good knowledge of investment products
Awareness of taxation (income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax)
