FTSE 100: FINANCIAL ANALYST

My client is a Global IT business with a turnover of circa £5 billion. They are a household name business with a history of success and strong plans for future growth. They are based in a convenient location in London which is easily accessible by tube and major rail stations.

An opportunity has arisen for six months within the financial reporting team. The primary focus is to drive business performance to achieve its financial targets by interpreting the financial results whilst providing valuable commercial insight to the business.

This role will be predominantly focussed on communicating key issues around the balance sheet and the cash position to senior executives in the business on a periodic and ad hoc basis. The successful candidates will lead on the Balance Sheet reporting, including monthly reports and Quarterly Group Balance Sheet Reviews, providing insights, highlighting the focus points and managing actions. It will be responsible for the management of the Balance Sheet including bi-annual forecasts and monthly outlook and also lead projects around fixed assets. As this is a senior role within the team you will be expected to lead projects that will improve processes and the quality of financial information provided which will enhance decision-making.

If you are interested in this role and would like to apply you will need to be a qualified accountant who has experience in balance sheet control and reporting, fixed asset management and cash flow forecasting. All of these requirements are essential and this experience should have been gained in a large blue chip organisation.
