FTSE 50 High Profile Entry Point recruitment
The Group is looking to recruit a high calibre senior finance professional who is looking for a challenging and highly visible entry point role offering growth and career progression in a global organisation.
Reporting into the Group Treasurer, the Group Treasury Risk Manager has exposure to the Group FD, CEO, Senior Executives and business units across all regions and divisions, and is responsible for supporting all aspects of risk management activity relating to the group’s substantial exposures to foreign exchange, commodities and interest rates; specifically:
• Providing expert advice and support in managing the Group’s risk management initiatives, highlighting opportunities for their further development
• Facilitating best practice initiatives within businesses and assisting in the development of their risk management policies, processes and capabilities
• Supporting and training the businesses on the associated technical accounting requirements and ensuring best practice, process and compliance to obtain hedge accounting wherever possible
• Setting the agenda and facilitating the regular risk management committee meetings which involve the Group FD and other group functional heads
• Developing strong relationships across the head office and the individual businesses
• Providing Treasury input into the Group’s interim and final Report and Accounts
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with exceptional communication and influencing skills and with the credibility and gravitas to work effectively with a broad range of teams and individuals across the group including those at the most senior level.
Prior experience of or exposure to corporate treasury will be advantageous but is by no means essential. What is most critical is your desire and willingness to learn, that you have the emotional intelligence to challenge, influence and network along with your ability to progress within a highly prestigious global business.
