Fully Qualified Pensions Actuary recruitment
As an Pensions Actuarial Analyst you will work as part of a team on a wide variety of complex projects. You will serve as a key resource for the consultant in charge of each of your engagements by performing many intricate aspects of the client work. As you grow and gain more expertise, you will become a key contact for the client and will begin taking on a larger project manager role within the team.
You will be required to have experience in:
1.Due diligence to schemes coming into the client. They work with our Schemes Delivery dept to assess if the scheme comes into the Client or not. There is also an element of FAS work (the pensions association that existed prior to the client which is in run off and is much more detailed, as it checks each and every member of a scheme rather than the Client which looks at their schemes as a whole
2.Policy aspect. They deal with changes in the pensions legislation. Once proposals are written up, passed by Parliament and come into force the Actuaries have a lot of contact with internal and external lawyers, the policy team, provide support for Capita who service the membership, check membership booklets for technical correctness. Very much and end to end service.
