Title: Functional Technologist, Equities QA, - Tier One Investment Bank

Introduction: Montash Associates have been engaged by one of the most prestigious banking organisations in the world, to assist in the expansion of an addition of a Functional Technologist for the QA team in the Equities team.

The Organisation: One of the world’s biggest brands, a Tier One Investment Bank with a very positive reputation.

The Team: The Investment Bank are currently embarking a period of extended growth. The successful candidate will be a highly talented and driven QA functional technologist to join a high performing team. This is a team orientated environment responsible for the testing in some brand new programs analysing business requirements via reviewing documentations and participating in requirement review meetings amongst other responsibilities.

The Role: This individual will ideally have in depth experience testing complex multi-layered systems and will play a key role in working with subject matter experts and technical leads to define and execute testing strategies. You will also have an in depth understanding of derivatives trade processing and other Investment Banking functions. This is a hands on and demanding role with the opportunity to make a significant difference to the system.

The Skills:
• Experience working in the financial industry and Equities preferable.
• Understanding of trade processing of financial derivatives and securities.
• Proven track record in QA software deliverables including defining and executing testing strategies
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• SQL, UNIX/Linux and message based testing
• Knowledge of Sybase/SQL, Java, C++, C#/.net are desirable
• Good computer science/engineering degree or similar
