Fund Accountant, Private Equity Fund Administrators

Global private equity fund administrators requires fund accountant on a permanent basis following rapid growth. Working on a key client, you will have previous private equity fund accounting experience.

Working in the London office, you will work in a team of Qualified Accountants in a firm where you will have instant exposure to the Directors of the business. In addition to undertaking the production of accounts the Senior Fund Accountant will be expected to support the Client Director on an on-going basis to ensure the efficiency of the Company is maintained. More specifically, to prepare accounts and other related accounting activities driven by client needs and to review and approve the work produced by less senior team members.

You will be involved in the production of management, interim and audited accounts whilst interpreting and understanding IFRS, UK GAAP or relevant GAAP to fund / company. Your role will require you to take ownership for the fund from day one and prepare and review carried interest and other calculations in accordance with the fund documentation. Taking a lead role with the planning of annual audits and liase with clients to establish timetables for the receipt of valuations.
