Fund Accountant recruitment

The role will include responsibility for the detailed review of all accounting and reporting received from external service providers.  The objective is to support overall business strategy and the needs of the Real Estate and Infrastructure investment teams. The successful candidates will also be responsible for the control and monitoring of some of the current and future indirect investments. 

Responsibilities will include:
        
• Performing accurate and concise monitoring, controlling, reporting and analysis of financial information related to your own sector.
• Day-to-day liaison with asset managers, local accountants and other external service providers.
• Supporting the regular financial reporting process as well as regulatory and tax compliance in close coordination with the compliance function.
• Producing performance monitoring reports for all fund investments.
• Supporting more senior colleagues in the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets.
• Providing support to the business when considering new investments and on defining the appropriate strategy for existing investments.
• Assisting in maintaining corporate records for all legal entities and investments in your sector.
• For assigned funds, ensuring all capital calls are properly assessed and paid on time.

Requirements:

• University degree, ideally in a business related field.
• Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA etc.)
• “Big four” public accounting experience preferred.
• 1-4 years of real estate or infrastructure fund accounting experience preferred but not essential.
