VP's are responsible for complying with the direction, policies, and guidelines for their group. They anticipate client and business needs, direct staff through a team of AVP's and managers and identify short and long-term solutions to ensure that all client and business needs are met. Individuals typically manage 3 AVP's/managers and have responsibility for total staff of 15 – 30 employees 

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

Scope

Individuals at this level should demonstrate leadership, communication and direction to their team.  They are responsible for preserving existing business and for developing avenues to bring in additional business for their NAV group and where possible for other areas within IFS/State Street.
