The primary purpose of the role is to solicit new business from Institutions in the French market. 

Major responsibilities

• Participate actively in the promotion in France of a large range of products and pursue new relationships.
• Win new business for SSgA products (pooled fund solutions and segregated accounts) from institutional prospects
• Participate in internal/external sales presentations to prospects.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and organize joint calls with product experts from the group.
• Work with marketing, sales and client service team to leverage existing relationships.
• Work with other parts of State Street

Education and Experience :

• Have strong sales experience in France with deep list of contacts and broad investment understanding.
• Be a self-starter who can work independently with the flexibility to work effectively in a large and constantly changing organization.
• Be an articulate communicator
• Fluency in  English.

Specific Technical Knowledge/Qualifications:

Have a sound knowledge of investment products. Have the ability to adapt to new investment ideas and to be proactive in suggesting new products.

Personal profile :

Self-motivated, articulate, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapid rapport with potential clients.
Be confident, mature, credible and honest
