Fund Controller
A prestigious multi award winning private equity firm is currently looking for a new Fund Controller to join their growing business. This is a high level review role controlling a number of funds with a new fund on the horizon. The role will pay £65,000 - 75,000 depending on experience.
Some of the basic responsibilities will include;
- Review of quarterly and annual accounts for various institutional funds, including carry entities
- Coordination of the quarterly investor report for the institutional funds
- Oversight/preparation of the annual accounts and quarterly valuations for c.30 deal specific partnerships and carry partnerships
- Management of the annualUKpartnership tax project
- Oversight of the management of the annualUStax requirements for investors
- Assistance in regular cash management duties
- Assistance in preparation of drawdowns as required
- Assistance in preparation of complex distribution waterfalls as required
- Advice on investor queries as required
- Advise on portfolio queries such as KYC as required
- Preparation of monthly IRRs for the funds and investors
- Management of the carry entity allocations
- Assistance in preparations of cash estimates and other analysis for the Managing Partners and carry partners as required
- Preparation of the annual SEC filing requirements
- Assistance with various regulatory requirements such as FATCA
- Interaction with the audit team annually
- Interaction with the various administrators of the funds
- Manage various projects within team to help make function 'best in class'
