The Advisory service line at EY is focused on providing high-value, independent and trusted advice to our clients, with a focus on business transformation programmes that deliver sustained performance improvement. Our Real Estate team is one of the largest within a professional services practice and has over 7,500 professionals globally, providing dedicated advice to Real Estate owners and occupiers.
Our Real Estate team within Advisory helps clients understand the tangible and intangible contributions that real estate and facilities assets make in supporting business goals. Our work focuses on corporate occupiers, both public and private sector, and real estate investors, including developers, property companies, banks, landowners and service providers.
Your responsibilities as a Senior Consultant/Manager will include:
- Advising clients on a range of performance improvement offerings, including:
- Estates cost reduction, property strategy and operating model
- Portfolio strategy and location advisory
- Property and facilities management outsourcing programmes
- Commercial strategy, developer and partner appointment
- Risk, governance and compliance
- Capital programme assurance.
Qualification/skills you'll need as a Senior Consultant/Manager:
- Significant experience in real estate, facilities management and/or property development
- Client experience in areas such as Financial Services, Health, Government, Pharmaceuticals, Local Public Services, Utilities, developers, funds and property companies
- Strong quantitative skills and exceptional commercial acumen
- Ideally possess an accounting, financial or relevant real estate industry qualification
- Programme Management or Advisory experience
- Demonstrate first class organisation and self-management skills
- High degree of personal drive and motivation to succeed
- Analytical in your approach and confident in working with both clients and colleagues
- Strong team player who remains calm under pressure
- Ability to learn quickly and keep abreast of developments
- Flexible in your approach and a desire to both broaden and deepen your skill set.
