Fund Managers Assistant
Our client is a highly prestigious asset manager in the City requiring the expertise of a Fund Manager’s Assistant to join their Emerging Market Equities team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for this highly successful and reputable asset manager supporting the Equities Emerging Marketing desks in all aspects of the day-to-day management of Equity funds across Emerging Markets.
Your previous experience will include management of bespoke investment models, calculation and implementation of trades, prior experience supporting Fund Managers reporting on portfolio positions, fund performance monitoring and calculation, cash management, placing FX spot Trades, morning client investment requirements, monitoring corporate actions, fund distributions and asset expiry to name just a few.
The successful candidate will come from a Front Office environment and will assume responsibility and have prior experience supplying portfolio, index, risk and performance data as well as ad hoc requests for the Fund Managers. Advanced Excel skills are essential. Prior experience working with Bloomberg, FactSet and Charles River will be a distinct advantage.
Candidates will have a 2.1 degree within a financial/mathematical degree and will demonstrate first class communication skills
