Fund Raising
This organisation has a leading name in principal investment within the alternatives space. Managing north of $10bn with offices in Europe and the US, the team invests broadly across leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, distressed/stressed debt, mezzanine debt and structured products. Following circa five years of both investing and fund raising in the region, the decision was made last year to open an office in Australia. The intention is to build out both the fund raising and investing specialisations, starting with a mid-level business development professional.
The successful candidate will have circa 8-10 years’ total work experience which will include some experience raising capital in the Australian marketplace. This experience does not need to have been gained within the debt space but it is essential that you have knowledge of the process in the Australian context, with experience of working with asset consultants, servicing clients and having contacts within the super fund industry.
Your role will be to work with the head of the Australian business to further educate the consultants and the investor base on the suite of products under management. You will have at your disposal a world class track record and brand name which will allow you to leverage a very attractive “story”. This role will provide a career springboard given the chance to be part of the business in Australia from its inception.
