Fund Sales recruitment

Job Description:

• Support new client relationships and establishment of a comprehensive distribution network via external channels

• Focused to nurture existing client relationships, with particular emphasis to building good rapport with distributors’ product evaluation as well as front-line sales teams

• To take proactive lead and closely attend to the documentation and implementation proceedings in the establishment of a new client relationship

• Proactive dialogues held with distributors on product highlights and any updates, special incentives etc. to support product sales momentum

• To closely follow the market/competitors activities to contribute to sharing of market intelligence within Retail Funds Distribution team, for effective ongoing sales pitch and PR/marketing initiatives

• To be ready to closely work with Marketing Communications and back-office colleagues to ensure smooth and successful product/service delivery

• To prepare and ensure effectiveness of sales pitching documents

• To support Director, PWM on any new business/product initiatives and to contribute to the formulation of overall sales marketing strategy

Knowledge

• Thorough understanding of PWM business

• Profound knowledge of different financial products and services

• Sound knowledge of investment markets and portfolio management

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to drive new business development opportunities

• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese

• Passionate for the sales job and the financial market

• Excellent interpersonal skills, integrating tact and diplomacy

• Customer-oriented mentality

• Strong self-starter, self-confident energetic

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance or any related disciplines

• 3-8 years of fund sales experience in the asset management industry

• A strong relationship with institutional clients
