FX Applications Project Manager Investment Banking- Implementation - Fast Paced- Snr AVP
FX Project Manager opportunity for an Investment Bank, leading the field on FX applications requires an Implementation Project Manager to work on the FX application suite. The departments have a variety of initiatives and the initial project needing your specialism is the implementation of a new flavour of an existing successful platform role out bank wide.
The position sits in Front Office, and requires a project manager with FX application functionality business knowledge who understand FOBO processes not just one office of the bank ie settlements etc.
The platform implementation affects users internally as well as vendor so there are nuances that you must consider in your project planning and the work the BAs will do to make the project deliverables run smoothly.
The FX application looks at Cash and Ecommerce core postings, FX orders, Liquidity and Aggregation pricing, some Algo, sales workflow and connectivity ecommerce in FX cash. This is the reason they need someone who has FX business from a functionality perspective.
At the moment the bank offers UK clients the services of the platform, but is imminent to roll out to some European countries and the UAE.
The best person for this role will be someone who has Project Management experience at the technical coal face of PM work, basically at the final stages of a technical implementation, who has also got experience of working on many minor works in a production support PM capacity.
